Falcons release return specialist Jennings.
The Atlanta Falcons released receiver and return specialist Adam Jennings on Tuesday and signed defensive end Brandon Miller from the practice squad.

Jennings, a former sixth-round draft pick from Fresno State, led the team with 23 punt returns for 151 yards. He did not have a reception this season and had only six catches for 62 yards and one touchdown the past three.

Miller was signed as an undrafted free agent in April.

The Falcons also signed receiver Chandler Williams, a former seventh-round pick, to their practice squad.

Steelers sign veteran CB Bryant.

The Pittsburgh Steelers agreed to a one-year contract with veteran cornerback Fernando Bryant on Tuesday.
Financial terms of the deal were not disclosed.

The 26th overall pick of the Jacksonville Jaguars in 1999, Bryant has collected seven interceptions and seven fumble recoveries during his 10-year career. He spent the first five seasons of his career in Jacksonville, then played four years with the Detroit Lions.

Bryant signed as a free agent with the New England Patriots in March before being released on August 30.

In a corresponding move, the Steelers released rookie linebacker Donovan Woods.
