The New York Jets have signed offensive tackle Nevin McCaskill.

McCaskill, a free agent from Hampton, was signed to the Green Bay Packers active roster last December and was inactive for three games. He was waived by the Packers last Monday.

The 6-foot-4, 300-pound lineman was signed as a free agent by Buffalo in July 2007 and spent time on the Bills practice squad that season. He was in training camp last summer with Buffalo before being waived before the regular season.
