Four ago the Fresno State Bulldogs had around the same chances of engaging a national title in baseball as the sun did of escalating in the west. After a 6-1 win over Georgia on Wednesday evening in Omaha, Fresno State was crowned national championsof college baseball and did it in definite quality.

It seems the only relations around the realm that really thought Fresno State win a national title in baseball over the past were the Bulldogs themselves. For nine innings on Wednesday, Fresno State out-hit, out-pitched and outplayed a Georgia team, making out of everyone on and off the domain in best its foremost ever national title in baseball.

Fresno State also led the residents in home runs during the College World Series with 14, more than twice as many as its competitor, Miami, with six. It was the most home runs in a College World Series since LSU and USC both hit 17 home runs in 1998.

The national title in baseball was only the second national challenge in school story and primary since the softball team the title in 1998. Fresno State finishes the term 47-31.
