Facing a make it or breather it season, St John’s trainer Norm Roberts got a cessation from the Big East Conference agenda-makers yesterday.

The Red Storm’s home-and-home opponents are Notre Dame, which figures to be piquant, Seton Hall, which is construction under Bobby Gonzalez and Cincinnati, which is rebuilding under Mick Cronin.

St. John’s also gets most of its opponents at home. Connecticut, Georgetown, Louisville and Syracuse come to the Big Apple for sports that likely will be in the Garden.

Ganmes against Seton Hall and South Florida probably will be at newly renovated Carnesecca Arena. The toughest road competition at are Marquette and Villanova.

Seton Hall’s three home-and-home opponents are a minute more challenging. The Pirates get Connecticut twice, St. John’s twofold and in-formal challenging Rutgers double.

Rutgers gets Seton Hall two times, Providence twofold and Syracuse twice. The Friars have a fortuitous at heart a surprise team under new instructor Keno Davis.
