Georgia Tech development Ra’Sean Dickey has set up his senior season to play ably in the Ukraine.

Coach Paul Hewitt said Wednesday the 6-foot-10 Dickey a deal with Budivelnyk Kiev of the Ukrainian Super League. He last time of year to recover from heightened tendinitis in his right knee and had a year of aptness remaining.

“Ra’Sean and his family have sure that the time is right for him to set in motion his professional basketball line of business, and we wish him all the best,” Hewitt said.

Dickey played in 89 games over three seasons, averaging 8.7 and 5.1 while shooting 60.1 percent from the pitch. His best time was 2005-06, when he 13.2 points and 6.8 rebounds.

The Yellow Jackets were 15-17 last period, including 7-9 in the Atlantic Coast Conference.

Former Missouri basketball coach Norm Stewart is from open-heart of hearts surgery.

University said the 73-year-old Stewart had an aortic faucet extra on Friday. He is recuperating at Boone Hospital Center and is expected to be released advanced this week.
