The Chicago Bulls waived sentry JamesOn Curry on Thursday.

The 6-foot-3, 190-pound Curry was the team’s next-round pick in the 2007 NBA version.

Curry was adjourned for one game July 10 by the NBA after he responsible to two misdemeanors in Idaho.

Curry, a prior Oklahoma State standout, was in January and pleaded culpable to resisting custody and urinating in public.

Curry worn-out most of last term in the NBA’s Developmental League.

Oklahoma City’s new NBA team will buy its NBA Development League colleague in Tulsa.

Clay Bennett, the chairman of the Oklahoma City team’s tenure ensemble, joined the team’s accustomed director, Sam Presti, and D-League President Dan Reed for the formal announcement of the deal on Thursday.

When the grip of the Tulsa 66ers is complete, Oklahoma City will be the third NBA team to own its D-League associate. The Los Angeles Lakers own the Los Angeles D-Fenders and the San Antonio Spurs own the Austin Toros.

Bennett said the NBA team will pay $2.25,000,000 for the D-League franchise.

In June, the team formerly notorious as the Seattle SuperSonics transformed their D-League partner from the Idaho Stampede to the 66ers. The Tulsa team also had been serving as the inferior association club for the Milwaukee Bucks.

Bennett said that by purchasing the D-League team, Oklahoma City will be able to direct the 66ers’ business operations and better breed Oklahoma City’s younger players who capacity be sent to Tulsa.
